Consistent with APETCO HSE philosophy, and in an effort to provide all employees with a working environment that is free from health hazards, the following regulation will apply to all employees, and contractors and visitors to APETCO facilities.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all APETCO Company workplaces (all Offices, Thermal Treatment Desorption plant and all sites) except in designated smoking areas as listed  Here in after; all designated smoking areas will be equipped with ashtrays, fire extinguishers and the appropriate Designated “Smoking Area” sign.

Designated smoking areas:

Cairo Building: A designated area outside the offices at the entrance, all balconies on all floors.

Operation area: Outside Accommodation area and staff rest room.

Smoking is prohibited at all times in the Food Hall and in all company-operated vehicles.

The operation manager or his delegate at the facility has the overall responsibility of administering this policy and ensuring that the policy is properly communicated and adhered to by everyone.
